This list is of my favorite Game-Used sets. Even though I am not a collector of strictly Game-Used items, I do collect them as part of sets. In other words, I do spend the time and money putting Game-Used sets together. 

The Game Used phenomenon started back in 1996 when Upper Deck and Collector's Edge started the craze with Game-Used Jersey and Game-Used Game Ball Sets, respectively. They turned the hobby upside down. Although, the price of the 1996 Game Ball set has fallen over the past couple years, (due in large part to CE's liquidation after bankruptcy), they are still nice cards. And who in the card hobby doesn't like firsts? The 1996 Upper Deck Game Used Jersey set still remains one of the most sought after sets in the past decade.

The cards shown below are my favorite Game-Used sets:

1. 1)1998 Upper Deck Game Used Jersey Set - There may be a lot of Game Used Sets out there, but this is my favorite.  One of the best looking Jersey cards I've seen.
   

2. 2)2001 Donruss Classics Team Colors Set - Donruss put a gem together here. What an Awesome set.
   

3. 3)1997 Upper Deck Game Used Jersey Set - Upper Deck created them, so it's no wonder they own 2 of the top 3 spots.
   

4. 4)2001 Leaf Certified Freshman Fabrics Set - I know they're part of the base set, but they are simply awesome!! Great Job!!
   

5. 5)2001 Leaf Rookies & Stars Dress for Success - Great layout, player selection and idea. However, I wish Leaf would've lined up the swatches with the item their cut from. (i.e., pants watches are always on top).
   

6. 6)1997 Collector's Edge Extreme Game Gear Quads - Wow!! I couldn't believe CE came out with this set.  What got into these guys?
   

7. 7)2001 Upper Deck Legends Past Patterns - It may look like just another jersey card, but I really like the "Chalkboard Game Plan" fad-out on the left side of the card. Nice size jersey cut too!
   

8. 8)1996 Collector's Edge Advantage Game-Used Game Balls - The lone bright spot for a dismal base set.
   

9. 9)1998 Collector's Edge Advantage Memorable Moments Game-Used Game Balls - This is the card that CE clearly utilized the backside. Great Job.
   

10. 10) 1997 Collector's Edge Masters Playoff Game Ball - Two player cards were never really a hobby favorite, but these are different.
